Mangafyre Produce was launched in 2025 by Mangawhai couple Mark and Jenny, whose complementary passions for bold flavours sparked a delicious collaboration right in their slice of coastal paradise. It began when Jenny introduced Mark to her spiced honey which she loved for its bold heat and beneficial properties.

Mark, with his love for all things ‘low n slow’, the smoky depths it brings to meats and meals, instantly saw an opportunity to make magic happen. Experimenting in fusing smoke, spice, and sweetness, they perfected their signature Mangafyre Hot Honey: a versatile ingredient with a sweet kick that ignites tastebuds and turns everyday dishes into something special, a flavour experience.

From that product, the couple has since created a hot honey marinade and a dressing, with many more innovative products in the pipeline. Their bold experiments continue to push boundaries for those that love the heat. For Mark and Jenny there's no limit to the creative flavour combinations they're willing to explore.

As a partnership, their aroha and individual strengths have transformed casual experiments into a thriving small-batch business built on care, quality, and genuine enthusiasm.
